The Claim Process
Claiming the SuRIA Home rebate runs like this: book a free assessment, have SuRIA Home install and commission your Solar ATAP system with TNB, wait for TNB's email from June 2026, send through your own bank details, and TNB pays up to RM3,000 into your account inside 7 working days of verification. The rate is RM600 for each 1 kWac of installed capacity, capped at RM3,000.

SuRIA Home installs your rooftop Solar ATAP system and commissions it with TNB. The work is carried out by Astern Technologies Sdn Bhd, a seasoned Malaysian solar PV installer, to the standards the programme demands.
From June 2026, TNB reaches out to eligible customers by email, inviting you to submit your details to claim the SuRIA Home rebate. Watch the inbox tied to your TNB account.
Follow TNB's instructions and provide your own local bank account details so the rebate can be paid to you. It's one rebate per customer, and the account has to be in your name.
Once verified, TNB deposits the rebate — RM600 per kWac, up to RM3,000 — directly into your own bank account inside seven working days. SuRIA Home never pays or claims the rebate on your behalf.
